Groundbreaking in Montenegro
The Jewish community in Montenegro gathered last week at the groundbreaking of their first center. The new synagogue, under the leadership of president of the community Mr. Jasa Alfanderi and Rabbi Ari Edelkopf, is expected to open its doors to the community in 10 months.
The World Jewish Congress lists 400 Jews in Montenegro’s total population.
