One Million-Plus Pounds of Matzah To Be Distributed in FSU

Moscow, Russia

(FJC.ru) More than one million pounds of matzah and 150,000 bottles of wine are being distributed to Jewish communities of the fifteen republics. The matzah is sold at cost price to those who can afford to pay and the rest is distributed free to the elderly and needy. Every day, dozens of trucks full of Passover packages are delivering their passover cargo to communities across the country.

The matzah campaign all been made possible by the generous sponsorship of Mr. Lev and Olga Leviev, as well as thousands of North American and local donors who responded to the FJC Passover Appeal.
