Sukkot Amid Civil War In Bolivia

LA PAZ, BOLIVIA

In the throes of Bolivia’s civil unrest, with thousands marching across the country in angry and often violent protest against the government, Chabad celebrates Sukkot.

Chabad-Lubavitch representative, Rabbi Yossi Smierc and his family fearlessly share the joy and the traditions of the festival, with a mobile sukkah seen in these photos alongside army jeeps on the streets of La Paz.
