Rabbis Zalman Deren and Shimmy Susskind visited the Federal, state and local jails in Pennsylvania and West Virginia for the Aleph Institute in Pittsburgh.

They met inmates who, due to the distance of any community or Chabad representatives, had not been visited in a year. Letters of thank you from the inmates and the government officials at the isolated institutions are received daily.
