Three Chabad Students Killed in Car Accident

ISRAEL
Chabad communities in Israel and beyond are shocked by the loss of three of its students, killed on Wednesday in a car accident.
Levi Hendel, 14, of Migdal Ha-emek, Yonatan Bitton 17, of Ashkelon and Moshe Golan, 17, of Jerusalem were killed when the car they were in overturned and fell into a ditch.
The students were on their way to IDF bases north of Eilat to participate in Chanukah outreach programs. The accident occurred at the Tzichor-Eilat intersection. Five surviving passengers were rushed to various area hospitals where they were treated for various injuries, including the driver who is in serious condition at Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva.
