Scotland’s Rabbi Jacobs Speaks in Parliament

Edinburgh , Scotland

(lubavitch.com) Rabbi Mendel Jacobs, Scotland’s only Scottish Rabbi and Minsiter of Synagogue -Shul In The Park, who is also Chabad emissary, visited the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh this week to lead the Time For Reflection for the Parliament.

Rabbi Jacobs spoke about the human being’s mission in life. “When G-d created the world, man was the only creature created in the singular. The rest of the creatures were created in numbers. This,” he explained, "is to illustrate the Divine intention that man utilize his ability to cultivate the world in a positive way,” for the benefit of all life.

Rabbi Jacobs was accompanied by his wife Mrs Tzirl Jacobs. He also met with Ken Mackintosh, MP.
