EU Commissioner of Education Meets With Chabad Representative to Slovakia

Brussels, Belgium

(Lubavitch.com/LNS) EU Commissioner for Education and Culture, Jan Figel took time on his birthday to visit with Rabbi Levi Matusof, Director of the European Jewish Community Center, and Rabbi Baruch Meyers at his office at the EU. The two rabbis discussed matters relating to Jewish education in Europe. Rabbi Meyers, Chabad representative to Slovakia, enjoys a long-standing friendship with Figel, who has served as Minister of Education in Slovakia.
