With the appointment of Rabbi Shmuel and Chana Tiechtal, scheduled to arrive in Tempe, Arizona, in November, Arizona State University will have full-time Chabad-Lubavitch representatives. A premier metropolitan public research university, ASU is home to nearly 3,000 Jewish students from abroad and nationwide. The new Chabad Student Center will cater to the Jewish student body through the full range of Chabad’s social and educational programs.
