Chabad Brings Kosher Food To Wimbeldon
As they wait in the queue for hours — even days — to watch the Wimbledon Championships, Jewish tennis fans have welcomed hot kosher food offered by Chabad of Wimbledon and Chabad South London from a stand minutes away from the courts — with delivery to fans who don’t want to forfeit their spots in the queue.
The fare includes burgers, steaks, chips, and even (non-dairy) strawberries and cream — a Wimbledon favorite. And of course, along with the kosher food comes the opportunity for more mitzvahs — tefillin, Shabbat candle distribution, and more.
