Philanthropist Bogolubov Celebrates Birth of Grandson By Giving

By , Brooklyn, NY

(lubavitch.com) In honor of the birth of his grandson, Jewish philanthropist Mr. Gennady Bogolubov will give $500 to every Chabad representative. Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky of Lubavitch Headquarters announced the gift Sunday at the Women’s International Conference of Chabad Emissaries.

The gift will be made through the Bogolubov Simcha Fund, created to provide financial support to Chabad representatives during family life-cycle events.

This follows an earlier gift Mr. Bogolubov made last September of $2 million disbursed among Chabad representatives to celebrate the birth of his daughter.

Mr. Bogolugov’s largesse is an expression of “the deep appreciation he feels for the Shluchim,” said Rabbi Kotlarsky.
