Ep. 59: Borscht Belt Meets Bible Belt

In Episode 59 of Lamplighters: Stories From Chabad Emissaries On The Jewish Frontier, reporter/producer Gary Waleik presents the story of Rabbi Yosef and Rebbetzin Bina Goldwasser, Chabad Shluchim to Mobile, Alabama. In just 11 years, the Goldwassers have inspired Alabamians young – and not as young – to take on more Torah learning and Mitzvahs. And those Jews are, in turn, inspiring others to do the same.

Lamplighters: Stories From Chabad Emissaries On The Jewish Frontier is producing a series of moving, beautifully produced, sound-rich and often surprising stories of Chabad shluchim and the people they inspire in every corner of the world.
