(lubavitch.com) Florida Governor Charlie Crist has appointed Rabbi Shneior Oirechman, Chabad Lubavitch representative of the Panhandle, to the Florida Faith-Based and Community-Based Advisory Council. He is one of seven Floridians whom Crist recently appointed or re-appointed to the council, according to a press release from the governor’s office. Each is appointed to serve until 2012.
Rabbi Oirechman is the only rabbi appointed to this advisory board.
