(lubavitch.com) The women of Redondo Beach, CA made their first appointments to visit the area’s newest addition: a 1,100 square foot mikvah. This mikvah, with its three preparation rooms and spa-like atmosphere, is located on the same property as the Jewish Community Center of Chabad of the Beach Cities. Mikvah attendant and Chabad representative, Sara Mintz, is excited to see the $350,000 investment pay off. Approximately 10,000 Jews live in the vicinity and Mintz hopes that local women will see the mikvah as an opportunity to dedicate to themselves for rejuvenation.
